14 Phere: Kriti Kharbanda and Vikrant Massey started shooting for their film in Lucknow
Kriti Kharbanda and Vikrant Massey have started shooting for the upcoming film ’14 Phere’ in Lucknow. The story of the film is set in Northern India, it is about how marriage in India is not just between a couple but between a family.
Directed by Devanshu Singh and written by Manoj Kalwani, the film is set to release in February next year and also stars Vinay Pathak, Gauhar Khan, Vineet Kumar, Govind Pandey and Yamini Das.
Vikrant and Kriti reportedly attended workshops to prepare for their characters. Kriti also first learned how to talk like a Lucknow girl. While Vikrant has shot for a number of shows and films in the city in the past, this is Kriti’s second film in Lucknow as she had done a film there before.
Kriti also got herself tested for Covid-19 before she started shooting. Before Lucknow, the cast shot the film in Mumbai and after a month-long schedule in Lucknow, would go to Jaipur and Delhi to shoot the film.
