Ruslaan Mumtaz is a TV and film actor who hails from Mumbai. He was born on 2nd August 1982 in Mumbai and was raised at this place only. He did his schooling and college from Mumbai. He started dancing at the age of 4 and also participated in various dance shows. He is the son of a popular TV and film actress Anjana Mumtaz. His break in acting was seen with the Bollywood film called MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar in 2007. Since then it was no looking back for the actor as he kept on getting regular films in his career. 

Some of her other films include Tere Sang: A Kidult Love Story, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, Alert 24×7, Dangerous Ishq, I Don’t Luv U, Mastang Mama, Khel Toh Ab Shuru Hoga, Jabariya Jodi, Yeh Saali Aashiqui and Romeo Idiot Desi Juliet released in 2019. While his debut in small screen came with the show called Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara in 2013 followed by Encounter in 2014. The other TV shows include Curtain Raiser of Amazing Spider Man 2, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, MTV Big F, Balika Vadhu, Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, Tanmay Arora, Laal Ishq, Main Maayke Chali Jaungi, Laal Ishq and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.

He also was seen in the web series doing his debut with the one called Zakhmi by Vikram Bhatt and in 2019 with the Arre based show called A.I.SHA My Virtual Girlfriend 3. Talking about his personal life, he dated Salma Aagha daughter Sasha Aagha, however, he seperated with the Pak actress when her photos getting kissed by someone else surfaced in the media.
