Boman Irani Speaks Up About Munna Bhai MBBS 3: “Unaware of Arshad Warsi’s Update
After wrapping up his shoot for Raj Kumar Hirani’s upcoming film Dunki, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani is diligently working on his debut directorial project. The talented actor revealed that he has been involved in the film for approximately four to five months, not only as a director but also as the writer and producer. With progress moving according to plan, Irani confidently stated that he expects to complete the film by December.
During the Hindi premiere of the immensely successful Gujarati play Welcome Zindagi, in which Boman Irani has a special interest, he was questioned about the recent announcement made by his Munna Bhai co-star, Arshad Warsi, regarding the highly anticipated Munna Bhai 3. Irani admitted, “I have no idea about Munna Bhai 3. I seriously don’t know. If Arshad has announced an update, I am more than excited.”
Elaborating on Welcome Zindagi’s triumph, Boman Irani expressed his admiration for the play and its impact. He reminisced about the time when Abhijat Joshi’s brother shared a few scenes from the play with him, leaving a profound impression. The play, written, directed, and acted by Saumya Joshi, in collaboration with Abhinav Bankar and Jigna Vyas, captivated audiences with its seamless two-hour performance that lacked an intermission.
