Bigg Boss 14: Threats to producers, Jaan Kumar Sanu apologizes to Marathi community
In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 14, singer Jaan Kumar Sanu was reprimanded by Bigg Boss for his comments that he had made two days ago about the Marathi language. During the episode, Bigg Boss summons Jan inside the confession room and reprimands him for his comments.
Bigg Boss told Jaan that everyone is equal in the show and no one is allowed to comment or say anything against any community or religion. Bigg Boss further said that his comments hurt the sentiments of the Maharashtrian community.
Jaan then apologized to the Marathi community and said he was extremely sorry if he inadvertently hurt their feelings. He also apologized to Bigg Boss and said that he would not repeat any such thing in future.
During an episode of Bigg Boss 14, Jaan, who was troubled by Nikki and Rahul’s growing proximity, asked them not to speak in Marathi.
He said, “Don’t talk in Marathi, don’t talk in front of me, I get irritated, I tell you.” Do not speak in Marathi in front of me, if you have the strength, do speak in Hindi or do not in Marathi, it makes me irritated”
Subsequently, on October 28, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Ameya Khopkar threatened the channel that if Jaan Kumar Sanu did not apologize on the show within 24 hours, he would stop shooting the reality show. He even said that he would see how Jaan Kumar Sanu gets work in Mumbai after his remarks.
