Box Office Report: ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha,’ starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, opens with an impressive ₹16 crore in its first weekend.

SatyaPrem ki Katha, a romantic drama starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, had a positive start at the box office. It earned Rs 9.25 crore on the partial holiday of Thursday (Eid) and Rs 7 crore on Friday. The film needs to earn at least Rs 9 crore on Saturday to maintain its momentum. However, the monsoon rains could impact its performance in the coming days.

SatyaPrem ki Katha is a small-budget film with a production cost of around Rs 40-50 crore. The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who is known for his previous films like “Kahaani” and “Dilwale.” The film stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, who are two of the most popular actors in Bollywood. The film received positive reviews from critics, with many praising the performances of the lead actors and the film’s music.

Meanwhile, the horror film 1920: Horrors of the Heart has already turned a profit. It earned Rs 12.55 crore in its first week and is expected to cross Rs 15 crore by the end of its second weekend. The film’s lifetime collection could reach Rs 17-18 crore. 

The film’s target audience is young adults, who are the biggest consumers of Hindi films. The film’s release coincided with the Eid holiday, which helped to boost its box office collections. The monsoon rains could impact the film’s performance in the coming days, but it is still expected to be a commercial success.
