Deepak Tijori’s ‘Tipppsy’ to Hit Cinemas on May 10; Trailer Coming May 2
Deepak Tijori, a beloved performer from the 90s, is making a grand comeback on the big screen with the film “Tipppsy,” directed by himself. Joining him in this exciting project are talented actresses Natasha Suri, Kainaat Arora, Nazia Hussain, Alankrita Sahai, and Sonia Birje. After two years in the making, “Tipppsy” is finally ready to see the light of day. Produced by Raju Chadha and Deepak Tijori, the film is set to release in cinemas on May 10 this year, with distribution handled by Panorama Studios.
“It’s been a five-year-long journey for Tippsy! We began working on it even before COVID, and the process has been quite exhausting. We’re grateful to God and thrilled that we’ve reached this stage,” Deepak Tijori shared. When asked about the decision to release “Tipppsy” on May 10, Tijori explained, “May provides an opportunity for small films to shine. I believed it would be a good window for us. Panorama and producer Raju Chadha ji also felt that it would be the perfect time to bring the film to the audience.” He further revealed, “In line with the current trend, the trailer will be unveiled on May 2, eight days before the release.”
Concluding his statement, Tijori expressed his hope that audiences would eventually return to cinemas. He emphasized that they are giving the film a small, compact release and are doing their best to make it a success. Tijori is excited to be back on the screen after a long hiatus and eagerly awaits the audience’s reaction, hoping for the same love and support they have shown for his previous films.
Promotions for “Tipppsy” have already begun, with Deepak Tijori and the actresses impressing shoppers during a recent visit to R City Mall in Mumbai. Natasha Suri, a former Miss World India and TV host, shared, “I am playing Tanya. There are five girls in the movie, and the title of the film is an abbreviation. T stands for Tanya, I for Iris, P for Pony, S for Seline, and Y for Yami! Although we’ve modified the spelling of our film’s title to Tipppsy for good luck, the essence of Tipppsy remains the same.”
