Family Star Teaser Unveiled: Vijay Deverakonda Puts Family at the Core of this Action Drama
The teaser for the Telugu film “Family Star” has been released. Written and directed by Parsuram Petla, the movie features Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles.
The teaser portrays Deverakonda as a working class hero who doesn’t hesitate to resort to violence to protect his family. He is depicted as a middle-class individual, breaking beer bottles and confronting goons. As a family-oriented person, he also displays penny-pinching tendencies, insisting that the girl pays for petrol if she needs a lift. Mrunal makes an appearance towards the end of the teaser.
“Family Star” marks the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Parsuram, who previously worked together in “Geetha Govindam” (2018). The film also features Rashmika Mandanna in a special cameo, who also starred in their previous project.
The film’s first single, “Nandanandanaa,” was recently unveiled, composed by Gopi Sundar, who previously collaborated with Deverakonda and the director on “Geetha Govindam.”
Produced by Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, “Family Star” boasts a technical crew including KU Mohanan as the cinematographer and Marthand K Venkatesh as the editor.
Parsuram previously directed the Mahesh Babu starrer “Sarkaru Vaari Paata” in 2022, while Vijay Deverakonda’s last appearance was in “Kushi,” which achieved moderate success. Mrunal Thakur was last seen opposite Nani in “Hi Nanna.” “Family Star” is set to hit theaters on April 5.
