Guns Of North: Mahesh Manjrekar to Direct the film, Salman Gets Dropped

As Ayush Sharma, the brother in law of actor Salman Khan is gearing up for his next film Guns Of North. We now have some updates about it. The first one claims that the actor Salman Khan has been dropped out from the film as he was supposed to play the cop role in the gangster police drama film. It is a remake of a South Indian film Mulshi Pattern and the makers have named it as Guns of North.

As per reports, the veteran actor Mahesh Manjrekar is going to direct the film. He only has volunteered this idea to Salman Khan as he has been involved in such genre of movies like City of Gold and Vaastav. Since the film Guns of North also fall in the same genre, hence the veteran actor has requested Khan for the same, which he seemed to have agreed. Thus he will be replaced as Abhiraj Minawala who was supposed to direct the film earlier.

However, at the same time, we see now the superstar also stepping down from the film as an actor. Salman was supposed to be the part of the film as an actor as well as he was given an extended role of not less than 20 minutes. During the lockdown, the makers decided to make some changes in the script, which led the actor to decide to cut his role. Now, the actor has a full-fledged role rather than a short and extended cameo in it. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
