Social media has slammed the use of drugs in the industry calling it a murky den of the drugs. The moment this allegation was hurled to the industry many Bollywood celebrities came forward to stand united against this allegation labeling the entire industry as a murky place for drug abusers. Kareena Kapoor Khan is the latest one to join the show by sharing a story on her Instagram handle.Â
While sharing her story she wrote – with my industry. As you check the letter she expressed her concern as to how since the past few weeks, the industry has faced tough times with allegations like it has become a murky den for drug consumers and abusers. She added that the reputation of the Indian film industry has been tarnished with these issues. She continued saying that the industry has been painted with a negative image calling it a terrible place for outsiders which is not the case.Â
She further called this narrative against the industry and is salacious in nature. She said this propaganda is wrong and creates a bad image of the place of work for many. She said that B Town has some imperfections but similar flaws are found in every other industry. She concluded saying that instead of putting all these allegations on the industry one should learn and evolve in life rather weeding out unsavoury elements. She also said at the end that painting the entire industry with the same brush is nothing but a gross misrepresentation of the truth and reality.
