Khaali Peeli Song ‘Beyonse Sharma Jayegi’ is Now ‘Beyonce Sharma Jayegi after the Backlash
As the makers of the song – Beyonse Sharma Jayegi of the film Khaali Peeli receive a backlash on social media, the makers have changed their mind to play safe. Now, they have changed the spelling of the song Beyonse Sharma Jayegi to Beyonce Sharma Jayegi. This has been done considering the backlash the song has received on social media. Many called the song to be one with the tone deaf lyrics.
The song was also compared to the singing of a US based singer called Beyonce as his name was used in the Khaali Peeli song. The song seemed to have gained a lot on Twitter for protesting against the song. Considering the backlash on the video song, the director Maqbool Khan was seen saying that the song was racist. He then said that he wants to put an apology to all those offended. However, he also justified saying that the term Goriya is a traditional word and has been used in B Town songs.
Also, when we compare the song with Beyonce to happen to a street smart guy who is seen flattering the girl who is trying to impress for the dancing and performances comparing it with the epitome of beauty, talent, style, performance and attitude. Goriya was seen in the Hindi songs too often, said the makers which is nothing but a girl.
