Yesterday as the South Indian film Master released, it was an instant hit and it seems enjoying a smooth sail in the new normal when the turbulence seems to have come down. Twitter was full of applause and people are seen going ga-ga on it. The Vijay Sethupathi starrer film has managed to gained a huge buzz around the action entertainer.Â
This has helped the film to do a decent business at the box office. As per reports, the first Master 1st day box office collection is around 40.56 Crores, which is huge as far as looking at the current pandemic situation in the country. The film was able to do a business worth 23 Crores at the box office in Tamil Nadu, while in the other states like Kerala and Karana the movie managed to gain around 7 to 8 crores where in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana also had similar collections getting the toll to around 4.5 crores each.
With this the collection seemed going on the higher side. The film was also released on a few OTT platforms, which the makers were able to get similar buzz around. The movie is produced by Xavier Brtto and was made under the banner called XB Film Creators in association with Seven Screen Studio. The film is all set to release in languages like Telugu, Hindi and Kannada apart from getting released in Tamil.
