Synopsis: The Amazon Prime Video is back with yet another terror attack based series called Mumbai Diaries. It will be streaming on 28th August 2020 and is based on the real incident of the terror attack. These will be available in eight episodes and is helmed by the B Town famous filmmaker Nikhil Adwani. The star cast include Tina Desai, Mohit Raina, Konkona Sen Sharma and others. The series is produced under the banner of Emmay Entertainment and is expected to come with a bang considering the ensemble star cast and crew.
Talking about the show, the makers earlier was named as Bombay Hospital, but when the makers sat for a brainstorming they named it as Mumbai Diaries 26/11. One can make out that the show is based on the infamous attack on Taj and other places in Mumbai in 2008 carried out by a gang of notorious terror groups. They killed several people and attacked the Taj Hotel old building at the Gateway of India. As the makers claim, the series is all about dealing with the overarching theme of humanity. The makers were lucky enough to complete the production work by the start of the lockdown, which made their work simple for its release.
