OMG: Aamir Khan Opts out Vikram Vedha Remake film due to ‘An Unsatisfactory Script’
With the COVID 19 outbreak still hampering things, we now see the filmmakers returning to work slowly and steadily with all their norms suiting the new normal. As the remake of the film Vikram Vedha was supposed to hit his film in the coming few weeks with Aamir Khan, we now hear that the actor has opted out from his movie. The film had Aamir and Saif Ali Khan in the movie and the last time we saw the two stars were in the film Dil Chahta Hai around 19 years back.
Although the actor has not signed the contract with the makers as was in the initial talks. But he has given his green signal for the suspense movie. The film was supposed to hit the floor in March this year but the lockdown then extended the film. As per reports, the remake film had some issues with the script for Aamir. He had some creative difference with the film that led the actor to sign off. The makers are yet to announce the exit of Aamir Khan but reports claim for the same.
Aamir had some issues with the script and was not happy though that made him quit. As per the sources, the actor wanted to see the film to be of top notch but when he found the script across, he found it dejecting. We know him to be Mr. Perfectionist for all these reasons. Aamir has told Mumbai Mirror in Jan to make the film. The film happens to be a venture which is based on the Vikram and Betal story.
