Opening episodes of ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’ were shot in Patiala
Star Plus will air its new serial ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’ in December. The story is about Anokhi Bhalla (played by Debattama Saha), a simple small-town girl who has very simple dreams of making a career and being independent. However, she faces many different challenges due to male-dominated society and conservative thinking. Karanvir Sharma (Shaurya Sabharwal) and Debattama Saha (Anokhi) who will soon be seen playing the lead roles in the show, recently shot the opening episodes of the show in Patiala. Taking care of the safety of the entire cast and crew, the shooting in Patiala was done with great care.
Talented actor Karanvir Sharma shot his first outdoor sequence in this pandemic. During this time, sharing his experience, he revealed many special things, ‛We started shooting for this show in Mumbai only a few days ago, although some sequences of the initial scenes were balanced because they were required to shoot in real locations. So that the audience can get an authentic feel of it. Apart from this, it is based on the Punjabi backdrop in the show, so it was decided to do its outdoor shooting especially in Patiala. My co-star, Debattama Saha and I traveled to Patiala with a small cast and crew team. We shot there for a few days and returned safely to Mumbai. It was a truly memorable experience. ‘
Talking about her experience during the shoot in Patiala, the talented actress Debattama Saha said, ‛I was very happy and excited to hear that we were going to shoot in Patiala. Patiala is a beautiful place, very colorful and above all it reminds me of my home town of Assam. The unit took great care of us, ensuring all security measures. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I consider myself lucky to be working with this amazing team. ‘
Shooting with the main characters at real locations in Patiala was like a full house for the audience. Other artists like Deepa Parab, Pankaj Kalra, Falak Naaz and Pumori Ghosh were also present during this period.
