Pratik Gandhi is an actress popular in films and theatre. He hails from Surat and was born and brought up at this place. He did his schooling and college from Surat, while he wanted to be a doctor in his childhood but later shifted to Industrial Engineering in a private college due to low grades in the school. After his engineering, he started working with Reliance Industries as an Engineer. Soon he got involved in theatre doing plays in the evening. He then worked with groups like the National Productivity Council in Satara, and Pune and headed to Mumbai to work in an MNC.
As an actor, he started with plays and got recognition with a Gujarati play Aa Paar Ke Paar with Firoz Bhagat and others. The play was a hit and he then got other plays as well. Soon he got his break in a Gujarati film called Bey Yaar in 2014 that turned commercially and critically successful. But he kept on working with theatres doing different plays including Mere Piya Gaye Rangoon, and Hu Chandrakant Bakshi. He then got the chance to work in plays like Ame Badha Sathe and Duniya Laiye Mathe.
His regular roles in multiple roles helped him bag Limca Book of Record where he was involved in different kind of plays in Hindi, English and Gujarati. Some of his films include Yours Emotionally, 68 Pages, Bey Yaar, Wrong Side Raju, Tamburo (film), Love Ni Bhavai, Loveyatri, Mitron, Ventilator, Dhunki, Gujarat 11 and Luv Ni Love Storys. He also is the part of few web series including Manan Ni Therapy and Scam 1992. Talking about his personal life, he is married to his co-star in TV and plays – Bhamini Oza in 2009 his longtime girlfriend and the couple has a daughter Miraya born in 2014.
