Rhea Chakraborty Finally Gets the Bail, her lawyer calls victory to truth and justice
The actress Rhea Chakraborty seems to be making news for many reasons. She was arrested in the Sushant Singh Rajput Case when she was caught in the drug angel. She was arrested on 8th September 2020 by the NCB on the charges for procuring and supplying drugs to Sushant. The NCB has called her an active member in the syndicate for getting the drugs for SSR. She has faced a detailed interrogation in the cell and the bail being granted to the lady comes out as a ray of hope for her.
As per reports, the Bombay High court, the Half Girlfriend actress was given a bail of INR 1 lakhs. It was Justice VC Kotwal who after hearing her bail plea pronounced the order for the same. When the bail was finally granted, the lady’s lawyer in his statement called it a victory of justice and truth. He said his client is pleased with the decision and informed the lawyer Satish Maneshinde and he also thanked the Bombay High Court for granting bail to Rhea Chakraborty. He added saying that Truth and Justice have prevailed, which has finally been accepted by Justice Sarang V Kotwal.
He further called the arrest and custody of his client Rhea to be totally unwarranted and beyond the reach of the law. He said that her client has witnessed a witch hunt carried out by the three agencies like the ED, CBI, and NCB along with the media as well. In the court, the charges on Rhea were also argued and it said that the charges are too severe as far as comparing the drugs involved in it. It also said that the probe agency is trying to spin various false narratives against the lady.
