Ronnie Screwvala plans to make a web series on Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Check Details
The Bhopal Gas tragedy is still remembered as the biggest and deadliest gas tragedy on earth. We have seen a couple of films inspired by the incident but at the moment, we see the Indian film mogul and the known film producer Ronnie Scewvala planning a web series based on it. As per reports, the film producer has gained the audio-visual rights of the book, “Five Past Midnight in Bhopal: The Epic Story of the World’s Deadliest Industrial Disaster” by the known authors Dominique Lapierre and Javier Moro.
Yes, you heard it right, the incident took place in the old city of Bhopal in 1984 when lethal gases from a US based pesticide plant leaked killing and injuring thousands of people across the city. It was in the early morning hours when this tragic incident took place. The book was covered talking to hundreds of people with great research by the duo author team. The title of the book was also liked a lot which the film producer is going to keep the same for his web series.
The veteran film producer has made more than 70 movies under his banner called RSVP and is going to produce the web series with the same banner in association with Fox Star. The film producer also announced the same on his official Instagram handle, check his message as under:
