Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s father talked about the missing 15 Crores Rupees from his son’s account in his FIR to Patna Police, the mystery continued to spread around it. This soon involved the ED who probed a number of people in this case calling Rhea and others to investigate the money laundering thing. KK Singh, the father of the late actor claimed that his son’s account was having 15 Crores in his account but it went somewhere probably to Rhea.Â
A lot has been said about the mystery money but it seems that the curtain on the huge amount of money seems to be disappearing as the filmmaker Rumi Jaffery has finally spoken about the same. As per the film director, he was planning to make a movie with Sushant opposite Rhea. There seemed a huge buzz around it suggesting that the filmmaker has paid the said money as a signing amount to the actor. Later Rhea Chakraborty was alleged saying that it was the same lady who duped the late actor of his huge sum.Â
Clearing the air on this money, Rumi said he has not paid any money in the first place and that the commitment came verbally. While talking to the media, he was supposed to pay the money but lockdown came as a barrier. Also, he said the said amount is not possible to pay any star except the top stars of Bollywood. Hence paying such a whopping amount to Sushant at one was not possible as these are often given only to the super stars.Â
He even confessed about doing a film with Sushant and Rhea and had committed the said amount as well but he did not pay. He further said that since no agreement was made hence there was no question of paying him at the first place. He then said it was his bad luck as lockdown came in between.
