Salar First Day Box Office collection: Prabhas’ Magnum Opus Emerges as 2023’s Box Office King
Fans of Prabhas were overjoyed as ‘Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire’ hit theaters on December 22, marking a momentous occasion directed by Prashanth Neel. The film achieved an extraordinary opening at the box office, adding to the jubilation of Prabhas enthusiasts.

Starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles, the film quickly established itself as the biggest blockbuster of the year, surpassing the first-day earnings of ‘Animal,’ ‘Jawan,’ and ‘Pathaan.’
The box office collections for ‘Salar’ are nothing short of impressive. The film’s triumphant run was particularly notable in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions, where it amassed a whopping Rs 70 crore. With an overall occupancy rate of 88.93 percent in Telugu areas, ‘Salaar’ demonstrated its dominance. The movie also performed admirably in Karnataka and Kerala, boasting opening day box office figures of Rs 12 crore and Rs 5 crore, respectively.
As the buzz around ‘Salar’ continues to soar, it is now believed that the film’s opening collection has outshone the likes of SRK’s ‘Pathaan,’ ‘Jawan,’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal,’ making it the biggest opener of 2023. While ‘Pathaan’ secured Rs 57 crore on its first day in India, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Animal’ reported openings of Rs 75 crore and Rs 63 crore, respectively. ‘Salaar’ not only revitalized Prabhas’ box office standing but also solidified its place as a cinematic force to be reckoned with in the year 2023.
