The song, which features Salman Khan dancing in a lungi and a vest, has been criticized by South Indian fans for being vulgar and insensitive towards their culture. The dance moves in the song was slammed by the former cricketer from South. The Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman, who hails from the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, was one of the first celebrities to speak out against the song. In a tweet, he expressed his disappointment and called for a ban on the song.
