Salman Khan Secures 2025 Eid Slot for AR Murugadoss’ 400 Crore action packed film
The year 2023 has witnessed a remarkable resurgence of superstars, with Shah Rukh Khan, Sunny Deol, Ranbir Kapoor, and Bobby Deol dominating the silver screens. However, the unexpected underperformance of Salman Khan at the box office came as a surprise. Nevertheless, it appears that Bhai is gearing up for a triumphant return, poised to reign over the year 2025!
Reports indicate that Salman Khan may have finalized his third film for 2025, possibly an action-packed collaboration with AR Murugadoss, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. While their previous project, Kick 2, failed to materialize, this new endeavor is anticipated to be a high-budget action spectacle, with a reported budget of 400 crore.
Salman’s decision seems to be influenced by his close friend Shah Rukh Khan’s successful run at the box office in 2023, with three releases grossing over 2500 crore worldwide, and approximately 1300 crore in net collections in India.
The Sajid Nadiadwala – AR Murugadoss film is targeting an Eid 2025 release. Additionally, Salman Khan is also committed to Vishnu Vardhan’s The Bull, where he portrays a Navy Officer, and Tiger Vs Pathaan, where he assumes the role of an R.A.W. officer. While these films were initially speculated to release on Eid, it now appears that they might opt for different festival release dates.
The Bull is likely to leverage the Republic Day weekend of 2025, aligning with the patriotic theme of the film. Meanwhile, despite potential delays, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan may target Diwali 2025 for the release of Tiger Vs Pathaan, aiming to recreate the box office magic seen in 2023 with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki.
In sum, akin to Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 triumph, Salman Khan is anticipated to dominate the box office in 2025, potentially amassing over 1500 crore with these three action-packed blockbusters.
Salman Khan’s recent Eid releases have not performed as well since 2016’s Sultan. With 2025 on the horizon, there is hope that he could reclaim his box office supremacy. However, it is premature to predict the numbers or even the fate of these films at this stage.
