Shahid Kapoor Wraps up Jersey, Cuts a Big Bat Cake as bids adieu to cast and crew
We saw the actor Shahid Kapoor shooting for his next film – Jersey. The film is a remake of a South Indian film with the same title revolving around an unsuccessful cricketer who makes a comeback in his late thirties for his son. It’s a tragic story that has inspired many in the south and the makers then decided to have a Hindi version with Shahid Kapoor in the helms of the affair. As per the latest buzz, the actor is seen wrapping up the shoot for the film.
He was seen cutting a huge cake of a bat shape as the farewell party was thrown by the makers and he got emotional while posting the same in a form of an Instagram Story. As the film is based on cricket, the makers made sure to have its impact on the cake, and thus one can see it in the shape of a bat.
