Sky Force, Featuring Akshay Kumar in Lead Role, Set to Unveil India’s Pioneering and Most Lethal Air Strike on October 2, 2024
Jio Studios and Maddock Films have announced that their upcoming film, Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar, will be released on October 2, 2024, Gandhi Jayanti. October 2nd is also the birth date of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, and Sky Force is set during his tenure. The film is said to be a patriotic action thriller that will pay homage to Shastri and his leadership during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965.
It is an interesting choice to release the film on Gandhi Jayanti, as Shastri is often seen as a successor to Gandhi’s legacy. Both leaders were known for their commitment to peace and non-violence. Sky Force is an upcoming film starring Akshay Kumar that tells the untold true story of India’s first and deadliest airstrike against Pakistan. The film is set during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965 and captures the bravery, emotion, and patriotism of the Indian pilots who carried out the daring mission.
