Sonu Sood’s Next Venture – Scholarship Program for Underprivileged Students for Higher Studies

Sonu Sood has done a remarkable job in helping migrant workers to return to their homes from Mumbai to states like UP, Bihar and other places during the lockdown period. Now, he is back with yet another venture – Scholarship Program for Underprivileged Students for Higher Studies. He has embarked with this program with the name of her mother for higher studies. While talking about the same, the actor said he has seen the conditions of poor and underprivileged people. 

He added saying that they have been struggling a lot in their education. Hence he thought of coming up with this program. He further informed that he had some talks with a few universities and they have committed to help in this program. Since his mother is an academician, he has named the program under his name – Professor Saroj Sood and she will also contribute to it. The Happy New Year actor has shared the same news on his Instagram post, have a look at the same:

He informed that the scholarship will be available for streams like AI, Robotics, Engineering, Medicine, Data Science, Cyber Security, Journalism, Fashion and Business Studies. While talking about the criteria, he said students with less than 2 lakhs of income can apply for the scholarship. However, he added that this scholarship is only for students having good academic records.
