Tandav Makers Issue Apologies claims no Intention to hurt any sentiment
After lots of hue and cry with the recently released Amazon Prime show – Tandav, the makers received a notice from the Information and Broadcast ministry for the allegation of hurting the sentiments, they finally came up with an apology. Earlier, many of the fringe elements tried to troll the makers including the director – Ali Abbas Zafar came on his social media handle and issued a long apology saying that he does it on behalf of the cast and crew for hurting the sentiments of people if any.
In his long statement he said that the people involved in making the show did not intend to insult or hurt the sentiments of any race, culture, religion or any other groups and they value their traditions. He went on to say that had this been the case, he issued his whole hearted apology for the same. Lastly he even said that his show is a pure fictional work and has no resemblance to anyone or person or party and if something has gone similar it is just an act of coincidence.
