Urmimala Sinha Roy is an actress, model and dancer. She hails from Calcutta, West Bengal and was born on 27th March 1994 in the same place and was brought up there only. She did her schooling and college from her hometown completing her graduation in cinema and acting as a specialization. She has remained fascinated with acting since her early days that soon made her pursue her studies in the same field. She headed to Noida to join Asian Academy of Film and TV completing her program in 2016.
She was lucky enough to get the chance to be the part of a Bollywood film Sultan the same year with Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma. She had a brief role to play called a TV reporter. She also got training in classical dance. She then remained the part of a couple of TV shows as well. These include Hema, Dil Se Dil Tak, Suhani Si Ek Ladki, Ayushman Bhava and Savdhaan India to name a few. She was also seen joining the TV show called Mere Sai, which is a musical track talking about separation in family due to greed found in the family members.
Besides being an actress, she is also active in modeling and has remained the part of a few TV and print ads for several brands.
