Varun Sood is a mode, VJ and an athlete. He hails from Calcutta and was born on 1st April 1995 in the said place and was brought up there. He did his schooling and college from Calcutta, but later headed to be a part of the creative industry. He aspired to be an Army Officer in Indian Army as his father and grandfather both served in defense. However, while he got the chance to participate in MTV Roadies X2 and this changed his mind and he headed into the glamour industry. 

He did his schooling from different places since his father was transferred to different places. These include Dalhousie Public School, Dalhousie, Army Public School, Wellington, Naval Public School Kolkata, and Army Public School, Daula Kauna and finally completed his graduation in commerce from Delhi University from SV College. It was in 2015 when he participated in MTV Roadies X2, however, he got eliminated in episode 20. He then decided to pursue his career in the glamour industry and soon got a web series called Squadrann streamed on YouTube. 

In 2016, he got the chance to participate in the ninth season of MTV Splitvilla and emerged as a first runner up for the same. The coming year he was seen in MTV Campus Diaries in 2017. He then played in yet another MTV show called Daljeet Brar and MTV Big F season 2. He is a great foodie and loves to eat a lot. As per the recent reports, he is now a part of the reality show – Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. He has headed to Cape Town for the shooting. He is active on social media while talking about his personal life, he was in a relationship with the Bigg Boss fame Benafsha Soonwalla, but the couple broke up. As per the recent buzz, he is in a relationship with Divya Aggarwal.
