Will Akshay Kumar Lose the Third film with a 3 Movie Deal with Fox Star Studios as they Wind up operations in India?
As we know the Fox Studios have signed a three film deal with Akshay Kumar two years back in November 2018 collaborating with his production house Cape of Good Films, but the global giant wrapping its business in India, will it remain that’s the big question. The movies include Mission Mangal, the science fiction drama along with Laxmii and one more. The former was released earlier but the latter two films failed to get a theatrical release as per the deal
During the lockdown, the makers planned to release Laxmii on the streaming medium Disney Plus and Hotstar, while the cinemas were still, they had to take this decision. The film did a good business but did not go as per the plans. The two have worked earlier with the film Jolly LLB 2 and then they planned to get their three movie deal. It went smooth with the first one, while for the second and third it has come to soup. This has further posed this question is the third film of the deal is going to be shelved as Fox Star is winding up its operation in India.
As per trade experts, Akshay Kumar was seen as reserved for the next two years. He is going to shoot for the film Bachchan Pandey, along with other movies like Ram Setu, and Mission Lion. While he has wrapped up the shoot for the film Bell Bottom and is busy at the moment doing Atrangi Re. Stay tuned to know more about him and his deals only with us.
