Kangana Ranaut completes shooting of ‘Thalaivi’, gets emotional

After the lockdown norms, Kangana Ranaut returned to the set and started shooting for the film and now on Saturday she announced that she has completed the shooting for her next film ‘Thalaivi’. She is going to play the role of late Jayalalithaa in the biopic.

While sharing a picture of late politician Jayalalithaa with her picture from the film, Kangana thanked the crew of the film, writing “Thank you team for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime.”

Kangana posted on Twitter, “And it’s a wrap, today we successfully completed the filming of our most ambitious project Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader, rarely an actor finds a character that comes alive in flesh and blood and I fall in love so hard but now suddenly it’s time to say bye,mixed feelings “

Thalaivi is directed by AL Vijay and will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film also stars Arvind Swamy and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The release of ‘Thalaivi’ was postponed during the epidemic, the film will now hit the screens in 2021.

Apart from ‘Thalaivi’, Kangana Ranaut will also appear in ‘Tejas’. Directed by Sarvesh Mewada, Kangana is set to play an Air Force officer in the film. December is expected to begin shooting for the film. Kangana Ranaut will also be seen in action entertainer ‘Dhakad’.
