Synopsis: The popular digital platform ZEE5 has been regular in coming up with a few film and web series. Now, we hear about the OTT platform to embark upon with a series called Naxabari. As the name indicates, it happens to be a crime thriller and has leading stars like Rajeev Khandelwal, Sreejita De, Tina Datta, and Srijita Dey. The series is produced by a company called GSEAMS. It is helmed by Partho Mitra, while it is all set to release on 2nd October 2020. The number of episodes includes eight for the same.Â
As the name indicates, the series deals with the story of Naxals who happen to be fringe elements from the left taking up arms in their hands to get their benefits back. In a tough time, we see a rebel movement taking place in the country. The story is of a young STF officer called Rajeev which is played by the actor. He falls into the trap of a Naxal gang when he comes in the deep forest to investigate a case. So, what comes next is interesting to explore.
The story is based in the Naxal areas of the Maharashtra state. The makers have shot the series in the deep forest of Konkan areas. However, they were soon stranded due to lockdown that led them to shoot the same in Goa. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
