Mixed Twitter Reactions Emerge for ‘Insidious: The Red Door

The latest installment in the Insidious horror series, Insidious: The Red Door, was released in India a day before its US premiere. The first show of the film was screened on Thursday, July 6, for Indian audiences. The film is a sequel to Chapter 2, which was released in 2013.

Insidious: The Red Door follows the Lambert family as they once again face bone-chilling circumstances. The film reunites the original cast of the franchise for one final installment.

The film has received mixed reviews on Twitter, with some users calling it “scary good.” One user wrote, “Watched Insidious The Red Door last night. It was scary good.” Another user wrote, “‘Twas scary good ????????????.”

However, the majority of reviews on Twitter reflected that the movie did not live up to the expectations of the fans. One user commented, “Disappointed sa Insidious: The Red Door lol.”

The final chapter of the Insidious franchise picks up days after the terrifying events that unfolded in the Lambert family home. Patrick Wilson, who is also making his directorial debut with the film, returns in the leading role. He is joined by Ty Simpkins, Rose Byrne, Andrew Astor, Sinclair Daniel, and Hiam Abbass. The film is based on characters created by Leigh Whannell.
