Tandav: Amid good Review and Response Hashtag ‘Boycott Tandav’ Trends on Twitter
As the most awaited web series Tandav hits Amazon Prime, we now hear that the series is getting an overwhelming response at the box office. People have enjoyed the rich and compelling story backed by ensemble star cast coming everything from the Tiger Zinda Hai fame director – Ali Abbas Zafar. The web show however, has now come into a different controversy as were the leading actor Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub plays a student leader called Shiva. People object as to how a man with Hindu lord Shiva name believes in the idea of Hindu deity.
This has brought an interesting trend in social media called #BoycottTandav. The actor was also trolled for joining the anti CAA and NRC protest in Bombay along with standing in the protest for the protesting farmers in Delhi. Well, check the tweets that trend Boycott Tandav as under:
