Ever since the film Adipurush released on the screens, we have been hearing a lot about the negative aspects of the movie. Right from getting low reviews like half star to having disturbing and objectionable dialogues, the film has much to debate and discuss in the public forum. We also heard some objections coming for some sequences calling them vulgar and offensive considering it to be a religious film. We then heard about one seat dedicated for Bajrang Bali Hanuman in every cinema hall, which also gave too much footage. Then we heard about it coming from the makers.
One of the prominent name we heard in the film was of the story and dialogue writer-Â Manoj Muntashir Shukla. The writer seemed confused if Adipurush is a religious film and somewhere close to Ramanyana. He was not clear about it since he wrote dialogues like any other film without counting it as Ramayan. We soon saw the director defending the film calling it a different version of Ramayan. He said he has tried to write the dialogues in the language of the saints and similar people. He said he is not the first one to write dialogues of the film close to this story.Â
He went on to say that the makers have now produced the film Ramayana and that the story is just inspired by the epic book and not a complete one as such. So, it is said to be a story inspired by the book and not wholly a Ramayan. He was talking about the film on the popular news channel Aaj Tak. He further said that they have made a film called Adipurush and not Ramayan, while the story is heavily inspired by the epic book. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
